What I cooked: March 12, 2017 Pork chops, Asian style
Pork chops can be boring or at the very least predictable. I was feeling in a bit of a meat rut, and I saw some nice juicy chops at Fresh Market. What to do with them? I perused the web and found this great Asian marinade from the Love to be in the kitchen blog. The recipe called for boneless loin chops. I used bone-in to help them stay moist on the grill. I marinated them for about 8 hours. I like to dip my grilled chops in gochujang.
For sides, I added jasmine rice tossed with edamame and an Asian flavored Crowdpleaser Summer Slaw from How to Celebrate Everything but Jenny Rosenstrach of Dinner, A Love Story fame.
I guarantee your family will enjoy this different spin on an old favorite.
